13th International Saxophone Festival Leżajsk 2018

The 13th edition of International Saxophone Festival will take place on 4-7 December 2018 in Przeworsk.

The main goal of the Festival is to promote the saxophone as a classical instrument. The saxophone has become a basic jazz instrument and its sound and timbre is widely known thanks to jazz and rock music. However, the saxophone is also a vital instrument of chamber ensemble as well as a solo instrument. Being so universal, the saxophone gives musicians a variety of opportunities for career and development while constantly challenging them with new musical forms.

The festival aims to promote the saxophone in general - it enables music lovers to experience the sound of the saxophone in classical music, enables composers to present their works on the festival stage, and gives young saxophonists an opportunity to present themselves to a large audience and to leave a mark in the world of music.

Applications participants will be accepted only through the online form available at: held from 22/10/2016 to 05/11/2016
